Lindsey Lodge Hospice, on the edge of Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire, needs your smile (and a small donation while you’re about it)... Mel Banham, Head of Fundraising at Lindsey Lodge explains: “I’m not sure how true the saying is, but I do know that smiling and being happy are infectious. So many of our patients say that Lindsey Lodge is a place full of smiles and laughter we thought it would be a great idea to get people to share those warm feelings and help us raise our target of £25,000, which is enough to pay for a week’s worth of 24/7 inpatient care for our ten bedded unit”. one of Between April 12th and
May 21st 2008 do something that makes people smile. Take pictures
of all the smiles and donate them, along with a small cash donation
for each smile. Find a picture of your favourite smile and enter
it to our gallery of smiles. Why stop at just you? You could enter
a loved one, your family smiles, your colleagues - even your pets.
Organise ‘smile times’ at
work, school or play then post the results on this website.
