About Lindsey Lodge Hospice

Lindsey Lodge Hospice is an independent charity offering a range of specialist services for people with specific life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.

Nursing staff at Lindsey Lodge provide loving, specialised nursing and medical care which is sensitive to the needs of the individual patient and family.
Services to patients living with a life-limiting illness and their families are
provided free of charge.
The hospice was opened in September 1992. It currently provides a '24/7'in-patient service with 10 beds available, up to 14 daycare places each day and addtional services such as a Lymphoedema Clinic and bereavement counselling through its Reflections group. During 2008 it will cost £1.8 million to provide these services free to people in their time of need - that's over £3 a minute. Some funding is received from the North Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust, but for most of its income Lindsey Lodge relies on the generosity of local people and organisations.

Registered Charity No 702871.
